PADI e-learning
So what is e-learning?
Well we think its the best thing since the invention of the scuba unit! Not that we don’t like spending time with our eager students teaching them all things diving related, but less face it…there’s more fun to be had in the water than in the classroom. So, now you can do all your theory at your own pace and in the comfort of your own home. And, even more importantly, e-learning means less paper…and less paper means a happier environment!
How does it work?
Very simply! You have two options…
1. (Good) Purchase an access pass from us as part of your PADI Open Water course.
2. (Better) Enter PADI’s e-Learning site via the links on our website and purchase your own access pass direct from PADI. At this stage you will be prompted to choose a dive shop to complete your in water training…type The Dive Guys in the space provided.
What happens next?
Simply follow the instructions with the online course and complete the theory in your own time…it’s that simple!
Don’t worry you are not alone. As soon as you affiliate with The Dive Guys PADI will alert us and we will get in touch with you to make sure you are on track and answer any questions you might have. We will then keep in regular contact with you throughout your theory to monitor your progress.
How much does it cost?
If you choose to buy the access pass direct from PADI they will take a credit card payment for $120US for this directly on line. We will charge you $300 to complete your in water practical sessions and PADI certification costs.
It may cost about $20 more than the standard way, but we think it is the best way to do the theory portion of your Open Water Course.
