Full-Day Diving Tour
Includes:
- Pick up and drop off
- All Scuba-Gear
- 2 Guided Dives
- Light snack
- A cold beer (or a hot whiskey) after…depending on dive conditions!!!

If you’re already a qualified diver but you’re not familiar with the diving conditions in Wellington then give us a shout and we’ll take you to the best dive sites around and show you all the best bits…our favourite wrecks, impressive swimthroughs…and we may even introduce you to our favourite eel Eddy!
We’ll pick you up at your hostel between 9 and 9.30am and whisk you away in our little white fun bus (see above) to begin your day’s diving. There’ll be a break in the middle for lunch, a hot drink and a chance to warm up again before the second dive. After the second dive, and some refreshments over the log-books, we’ll have you back to your hostel by 4.30pm…tired out!
The full-day dive tour is for qualified divers…if you havn’t got your PADI Open Water Cert (or equivalent) but you’d like to give it a go check out our Discover Scuba Experience
Remember The Dive Guys are Wellington’s one-on-one, small group and backpacker specialists. Whether it is a weekday or the weekend we can take you diving, snorkelling, or training.
Other stuff to consider:- Medical Form:we’ll get you to sign a waiver before any in-water activities just to make sure you’re medically fit to dive. We suggest you have a look through our medical form beforehand and, if you think you might answer “yes” to any of the questions, give us a call first and chat to us about it just to make sure you won’t be disappointed on the day.
- Wellington Weather: All diving is subject to Wellington’s weather conditions…we’ll let you know if there’s any last minute change of plans. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel diving that day we can offer you either a refund or a credit toward another diving day. However, very rarely is there nowhere to dive in Wellington whatever way the wind is blowing…that’s the beauty of this place!
- Experience: We will ask to see your diving card and log-books and chat to you about your previous dive experience before we get in the water. This is just to make sure everybody is comfortable and safe during the dive and nobody is diving outside of their own limits. If you feel you’re not very experienced or are a bit out of practice don’t be afraid to speak up so we can take you to an appropriate dive site and make sure you enjoy your dive.
